Nigeria: Illiteracy Major Cause of Insecurity in Nigeria – Fulani Women Leader


Jos — The National Women Leader of Jonde Jam – a Fulani Cultural Association of Nigeria, Hajiya Aminatu Sai’du Naseh, has attributed the rising cases of insecurity and banditry to illiteracy and poverty among Nigerians.

Speaking in an interview with journalists in Jos, Mrs. Naseh, condemned all forms of kidnapping and banditry going on in the country, calling on the appropriate authorities to address the problem.

She called on Fulani herders to shun crimes in the country and engage in meaningful entrepreneurship and other legitimate businesses to make a living.
